IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAINNNNNN. Well, I'm getting you started a bit early. Only because this time there's a twist!
The theme for this year's October contests is --
GREATEST HITS!
No, this isn't a musical theme (though you might end up writing one, you never knoooow~), but actually is in honor of all the past shoneenclub contests that have brought so much joy the community. ♥ All of the fiction and fanart submissions for this contest should be based on a previous contest theme from any month or year. Anyone who missed out on a contest has a second chance to get in on the fun, or if you'd like to revisit one of your favorites, here's your opportunity!
To refresh your memory, the contest themes so far have been --
Ro-Ma-N-Su: June 2009 (June symbol prompts)
HALLOWSHONEEN: October 2009 (Fairytales & Scary Stories)
Kiss Me, I'm Japanese: March 2010 (St. Patrick's Day Prompts)
A Midsummer's Night Neen: June 2010 (Various - Including Summer & Dreams)
Time After Time: October 2010 (Past & Future)
All I Ever Wanted: June 2011 (Vacation)

For this contest YOU MUST FOLLOW THE PROMPTS OF THE PREVIOUS CONTEST YOU CHOOSE. If it says to pick a symbol, do so. If it has specific themes to choose from, choose one. You can not just base a fic on the name of the contest. All other guidelines from the prior contests should be ignored in favor of this contest's guidelines.
For this particular contest the rules are --
GUIDELINES (FICTION):
✿ 500 Words Minimum
✿ Drama-Based and AU fics are permitted.
✿ FOLLOW A PROMPT FROM A PREVIOUS CONTEST. You will have to tell the mod which you choose.
✿ Any genre is acceptable. But please keep in mind stories MUST be centered around Nino and Sho - friendship or romance. If not, you will be disqualified - use your best judgment.
✿ CONTESTANTS MAY ONLY SUBMIT 1 FIC THIS CONTEST. Make it your best!
✿ NO SEQUELS TO FIC FROM PAST CONTESTS. If you write a sequel to your work, you are breaking your anonymity. No sequels allowed.

✿ FOLLOW A PREVIOUS CONTEST PROMPT. For this, if fanart was not included in a contest, you can choose a fiction prompt to base your work on.
✿ Any genre is acceptable. But please keep in mind the artwork MUST be centered around Nino and Sho - friendship or romance. If not, you will be disqualified - use your best judgment.
✿ CONTESTANTS MAY ONLY SUBMIT 1 "FANART" THIS CONTEST. Make it your best.
Additional, more specific, and personalized prompts can be given to anyone struggling in either contest. Simply email shoneenclub@gmail.com with a request for help.
IMPORTANT RULES TO REMEMBER: ANY FICS OR FANART POSTED IN OTHER COMMUNITIES BEFORE THE CONTEST IS COMPLETED WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. ANY FICS MISSING HTML FORMATTING WILL BE ASKED TO BE RESUBMITTED OR WILL BE POSTED WITHOUT FORMATTING IN PLACE. Just check with the mods! Rule of thumb. ♥
SUBMISSIONS:
✿ Must be received by October 21st, 2011 (earlier submissions are welcome *wink wink nudge nudge*) by 11:59 PM USA EST.
✿ Email submissions to shoneenclub@gmail.com as an attachment (fic as word document, .txt, or in google documents - remember to include any html!) with the following information:

Winners: Posted on October 28th
