So I just got back from Denver last night, still a little jet-lagged today. I was out there for my cousin, Shastina's wedding. She had a garden wedding and it was gorgeous, even though we had a nice little storm about 5 minutes before the wedding was supposed to start. Put the downpayment on my dress and ordered it from the manufacturer! AND they can take 3" off the hem at the manufacturer for me, so I'll have fewer alterations to be made once I actually do get the dress in my hands. Dad's third (fourth?) arm surgery went well. :) They put 3 new plates in and saw that the bone is indeed living tissue and not dead as they feared (which could have meant amputation). So he's doing well and Wicket is sleeping beside him to protect him, as a good dog should ( Read more... )

Definitely going to have the easiest quarter so far in my college career next quarter. Only one science class, and it's a lab... no computer classes (wouldn't fit because the lab is so long), and the rest are 100-level social science classes. <3 ( Read more... )
