I agree with this. Also, you could do a little mathematical detective work to figure out if she's bullshitting you or not. A) When did you do the deed, and B) when did she tell you she's late? If they weren't at least two weeks apart, odds are good she's selling you a scare story.

But the testing thing is probably still a good idea.
