My childhood cat of 16 years is missing. He's been sick for a couple years and losing weight. A couple times he's gone under a bed or in a closet for a few days, with mom and dad saying they think he's about gone.

i want so badly to put annie's don't stop on here, but since it's getting reworked, i won't. it was a sweet album, though.
also, no raveonettes because i put it on last years. OHHHH MAN IT'S STILL SO GOOD TO ME.

what podcasts do you listen to? of course there's NPR and "this american life," and I listen to dan savage's every week (though his voice is starting to really annoy me). my commute to work is lengthy, so i was just curious as to what you might listen to. -

i was walking the mons tonight and some bougie young woman was on her front step with her boyfriend and says "you know i love these dogs, they look like gremlins." and i whole-heartedly agreed and told her that's why her name's monster. she then says, "i saw her all the way down the block and could tell she is a very special dog." how nice is that ( Read more... ) -

okay, so i can't believe that i don't know the answer to this. i feel like it's a pretty dumb question:
i have to get my wireless cable internet set up and one of the questions is if i need to rent or buy a modem...
with my macbook, do i? or do i just need the router??
