haha trust me, these aren't sellable. it's just on watercolor paper.

really though, if you want one of the prints, i can swing on by if you still live around campus (i'm assuming you do!) because i work around there and can give you one. i wouldn't mind a bit and it'd be nice to say hello!

That would be sweet...I live in Knight, if you really don't mind. Just let me know when you could drop by.

very nice! i love that you're into this, as finding a new process is the best. i got into needle felting the other day and i love it.

so you're coating your screens and then just burning them with a light at home? is that difficult or much easier once you just do it?

it's kinda difficult at home. i have this awesome basement that really translates well into a makeshift studio, fortunately. there's this really scary closet in there that nobody uses so my screen can go in there in and not get exposed while it's drying, and there's a lot of open space to print and a really sweet storage space some old lady left behind. i bought a 500 watt floodlight and just burn the image using that.

the only real problem is using high pressure water to clean the screen. i have to keep taking the screen from the basement upstairs to the bathroom shower to use the detachable shower head to clean it. but... that's not so bad.

oh man, basement = jealous. i need to move into a place with studio space this summer or die tryin'.

how long does it take to burn with your 500 watt floodlight?

maybe you can get a power washer or something if you keep it up. it's so awesome that you're getting into this. i've seen some amazing silkscreen stuff come out of my college and i think it's my favorite type of printmaking.
