I went to sleep at 4am thinking, "Holy FUCK."
I woke up and looked out my window and it was snowing. It was snowing while I walked to class and I smiled all the way there. Snow.

I listened to Carry Me Ohio on repeat today while I lay and napped. Thank you Giulia. I was up too late last night. And the night before that I was locked out and slept on a floor. I'm having the worst Halloween of my life. I want to go curl up in a ball and hibernate.

The most noteworthy thing about being in Lexington is that every single time I walk outside I think, "My god, it is beautiful." It is absolutely beautiful. I'm taking leaves back with me.

Tonight there was a thunder storm and everyone went outside instead of inside and ran around on the grass and played tag in the dark, in the rain, and it was wonderful.

And it's strange that friends are on another continent. It makes things feel more permanent, in an unnerving way.
