3 years ago, Birmingham's music festival City Stages which brought in big name acts like The Roots and The Flaming Lips went bankrupt. My love is leaving.

Yesterday was supposed to be great. It was a short day at work. We always take short days before a holiday. I got out at 12:30 and went to Hwy 280 to meet Asia for lunch. I do not have enough art, nor enough money to buy art. The problem is that I have tall ceilings and a few large areas of wall. I need something the size of a full mattress for the dining room wall. It was decided today that my apartment should be ready in two weeks. I'll begin painting it this afternoon and Dean(the very cool and silly landlord) will begin his work tomorrow. I only got 5.5 hours of sleep last night since Asia, Art and I went to see the band Girls at Bottletree. It was a great show. My dad said he didn't mind covering the cost of the cremation. So yesterday morning I spent some time with Fis. She didn't want me to hold her and pet her.
