Sometimes it's scary to think of how ephemeral everything can be...

-I miss the East Coast a lot.  Probably b/c I have trouble letting go of things and getting adjusted to new places.  After all, Boston, until the very end, never really felt too too much like home.  I wonder if this means that I'm ultimately an East Coast girl (but I think I've always known that).  Maybe it's just hard to not miss the place where ( Read more... )

Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth it trying to be a generally good person, trying to be nice etc. 

As I start looking towards moving to CA later this month (holy crap how is it September already!!!) I was wondering if those of you who've lived in CA (northern) could answer a question for me:

How cold does it get in the winters there?  Eg. will I need sweaters, autumn-ish jackets, etc
