The job hunt...
...is going badly. The best thing I have found is a catalogue distrbutor/collector with "excellent rates of pay". I think not. The main problem is that no-one advertises for such skills including no-confidence, lack of communication ability and general stupidity. Well yes, a good and a bad night. Suppose you can say the same about life really. As way of explaination I am a little drunk. They do say that alcohol is the only way to get through the first year of a PhD. I aks you though, why does so much bitchiness have to go on in our department? yes i am updating again. this means there must be something up. trouble is, i'm not sure what. i have reverted to a moody teenager and i hate it. it's almost like i am 2 people, one of whom is screaming at the other to stop being a bloody fool, the other is bobbing up and down in the waves, or rather torrent, of mood swings ( Read more... ) -

Diet started yesterday. Tis not a great deal of fun but am determined to stick to it. I even went swimming this morning which was quite a big thing for me as motivation not at great at the moment. Saw a friend there and had to try and time my lengths so I wasn't at the end of the pool at the same time as her. Not too keen to go showing myself off ( Read more... ) -

The end is nigh
Well I am graduating in 2 hrs!!!! It is a very silly poncy ceremony, but am still getting a tad sad. I am going to miss everyone sooooo much. There have been moments over the past 3 years when I never thought I would actually make it to graduation, and when I think back to those times it just makes me so happy that I made it, and had some pretty ( Read more... ) -

One hour till it all begins. AAARRRGGGHHH. I can't believe the traumas and the highlights of the past 3 years all come to 12 hrs over these 4 days. There is nothing more I can do, all my work seems to be worth nothing as I have forgotten it all at the crucial moment. good things about today:
- i had more than 3 hrs sleep for the first time in a week
- less than a week till FREEDOM
- IoW in 2 weeks
- i will have food once i have been to sainsbury's
- ice cream tonight
