It's Snowing!
We haven't even reached the official start of autumn yet but it is snowing lightly here in the Metro Denver area. -

We've recovered from the PAX Piggy Plague Dave brought home with him. It took us both out for a week, which was a less than fun time of house arrest, movie watching, and naps. Many naps. Update
So, we're recovering from the PAX Piggy Plague dave so kindaly brought home with him from the con. It hit me on Tuesday, and I fortunately (and amazingly) only had mild symptoms- fever, aches, headache, tiredness. Dave didn't fare so well and has had full blow flu symptoms and has been very lethargic. I got put on Tamiflu by the doc, and I think ( Read more... ) -

Scariest Morning EVER
So, Dave left for PAX today, which meant a drive to DIA. Fortunately, his flight was at a reasonable hour, so instead of making him catch SkyRide, I drove him there. NDK Preparedness
Somehow, I seem to end up with a few weeks before the con and I have to scramble around trying to make costumes. Well, I have to make Dave's (or order him something), as I just placed my order yesterday for a lovely jumperskirt and blouse from In The Starlight. sick day
with a fever and a headache. and all hell breaking loose at work. My boss knows me well enough that it will be a fight to not come in, but, considering that fact that random smells are making me queasy, I think I'll stay here.
