Its been a while since i've posted here. I've gotten used to the pace of always getting things done at the last minute at work. I mean we plan ahead to do stuff but we don't get the details decided till right before. We have done at least one promotion every week since late March. It won't slow down till late June. Even though I have been sick for the last 2 weeks now, I have still managed to grocery shop, balance the check book, do the laundry, and cook some form of dinner most nights. So the look of the next few weeks has me a bit unnerved. I have a report due to corporate Thursday at 5pm that I cannot start on until after someone else has done most of the work. as far as work went, the big boss and my boss were both on vacation while the people working decided to cram a week's worth of work into 3 days and end the 3rd day early. I had headaches every day. So we found an insurance company. We signed up for flood and home owners insurance. But whether we do it at closing or now, we have to pay the first year ahead of time. My step-dad has been having a tough time of it lately. The last few times I went to see my parents, he's berely social. I miss our time together not that I have a lot of time to visit people. We got word today that the man wanting to sell us his place officially got the job and place he'll be moving to. So he's drawing up some paperwork. The begining of October we should be able to arrange an appraisal and finalize the paperwork with our morgage lady. If all goes right, we'll be movin for Thanksgiving. So I didn't make a big deal of it, but I'm in Kansas City Missoui till Sunday September 10th. I'm at a NAWIC Convention networking and socializing with women of the generations before me. Which is code for I miss people my age. See you when I get back.
