And a happy new year. /sarcasm

I can't post about this yet on Facebook (so please don't mention it there) because I have a few day care parents (and some of my relatives) on that f-list, but I had to post somewhere.

I'm about to be jobless. I'm kinda seething. )

I would be pissed, too. You've been sold a bill of goods, and by family, no less.

I'm so sorry that this hasn't worked out. I hope you can find something to rectify this.

Thanks. It will work out, I know it will, I'm just irked.

I didn't know that my jaw could drop that far open. Like, snake trying to swallow a billygoat over here. WHAT???!?

Holy cow. I have a lot of faith in your capacity to be efficient and awesome and identify which plan is going to be the best for your next move...But WHAT???!?!?

For Pete's sake. I mean, really.

Thank you. I'm right there with you in the "WHAT?!?!?!" department. I mean, at this point I'd already learned that she'd set the business up to fail, whether she knew it or not. The thing that gets me is that she'd set me up to make a certain salary until June. Now she's backing out of that. I get that the business is tanking, but now they're leaving us high and dry. And (as has been pointed out) this is family! So I can't really do much about it.

My only hope at this point is that my dad sees the injustice here and offers at least enough financial help to keep things afloat.

I've thought about it. I might end up having to do that. At this point, though, none of them could afford to pay me what I'd need to cover the bills. Still, if it's the only thing possible, I might have to do it anyway.

Thanks.
