Glad you're doing well Silver, certainly I'd heard of exercise being a good thing for helping manage stress, and it's something that's shown up in the popular press recently too. I recently signed up with the gym, went for my first session last Friday night (after everyone else had left) - and now I worry about how many hours of running a chocolate bar equates to ;-)
Which old videogames are you referring to? *all curious*
And finally, I have to applaud your choice of music, "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself. ;-)
Sadly though I am to lothe to shift my arse off a chair I am inclined to agree with your doctor. Excercise does release endorphins which is a natural anti depressants. As much as i hate exercise I feel better afterwards for having done it. Don't feel that you need to run a marathon or join a gym to do it though. Running just for 30 mins a day or buy a cheap yoga/pilates dvd and do that for an hour a day (ignore the giggles from Jo and Rich - or make them join in) - do either of those 3 times a week + plus 2 days of free weights (I can send you a set of great exercises) and your sorted!
I know its a huge pain in the butt to do but it really does help (and the yoga makes you flexible in bed *winks*)
