Help me with Linux!
For those of you who do not know either Linux or networking, ignore this please. For the rest of you: please help me figure out this maze of distributions! How do you tell apart Debian vs Ubuntu vs Red Hat vs whateverthefuck? Also, any help with Linux networking (TCP/IP application development) would be appreciated. I don't know where to start! -

Mahi mahi?
So. Grilled today. My usual house special, grilled salmon with creole seasoning, turned out just fine. The experimental addition, mahi mahi marinated in italian dressing, was at best OK. It seems to be a very versatile fish, not terribly "fishy" and it flakes nicely... oh, and it's cheap. So I'd like to find a good recipe for grilling it. The ( Read more... ) -

People ain't all bad
So I just spent 20 minutes standing next to my car in the middle lane of a fairly busy intersection. I was just pulling out of Micky-Dees when my car died. Again. I just paid $200 so that this wouldn't happen again, but apparently fixed only part (if any) of the real problem.
