I want to make some bedding for the sims 2 but I'm not sure where to find a good quilt/comforter texture to use as a base. Does anyone know where I could find one?

How can I make distinct-looking vacation locals for TS2? In my mind, Takemizu village is an amalgamation of East Asia and Twikki Island is Hawaii -- I'd like to make my own vacation locals for these two areas but I fall in to the trap of making them all look the same. I started with a clean neighborhood, no Townies or NPCs.

I had a playable test community lots across subhoods.

In all the lots, the girl behind the register was the same girl.

Is there a fix or something for this?

I have found that sometimes some defaults just don't work even when they're loaded correctly. For example, Pooklet's raincoat defaults sometimes take an extra extraction. I also was using xjoelbabix's gypsy face makeup without issue but ever since I've reinstalled the fix won't show itself. Any ideas ( Read more... )

Is there a hack that allows (all) relationships to progress more naturally and more similar to how real life might go?

Sometimes my Sims fall in love too soon, but then other times repeated interaction doesn't even make them best friends. Then, if they have a high relationship, the decay over time isn't realisitic (i.e., it never happens).

I want to dl a custom neighborhood but do not have all the required expansions. Is there a way to make it work somehow?

What do you think are the most realistic skins and eyes for Sims 2? I don't mean in-game realism like the opposite of MM, but in general. Are there ones that look more like something you see on people every day?

I'm doing a complete reinstall of TS2 and was doing fine until I got to the Celebration Pack. It looks like it's installed 100% but Windows will suddenly stop working, and the pack doesn't appear fully installed in-game. The next few expansions don't install correctly either.

I even re-downloaded a fresh copy of the isos, so what's going on?

So I'm looking to download meetme2theriver's Uberhood, but I don't have Bon Voyage. How important is it to have BV? Will it work without it?
Also, is there a way to get the scripted events back? The pop-ups themselves arn't necessary, but is there a list of the scripted events and ways to replicate them?
