Gareth is smiling, of course, but his hands are tucked behind his back, and he's rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet. Being an honest boy, guilt is screaming from his every line, expression, and word, in spite of all his efforts to look and sound casual.

Gareth knows there are quite a few things he could be doing-- indeed, that he ought to be doing. But instead he is just sitting outside (free of armor, now) quite content doing nothing at all. He's not been here long, but he feels there have been enough goings-on already to merit something of a break.
