the realization: wait, that was a really bad plan
Gareth has not quite reached the point of realizing that he is very, very stupid. Nor has he reached the point, since regaining consciousness but moments before, of wondering where he is or how he got there, or why he is not dead as according to his (very ill-advised-- but again, he has not reached that place) plan. Gareth can, for once, be found in the general vicinity of the mansion, as he's not sure where else to look for Hero and her lord. So, he's looking, though it must be admitted that he doesn't seem to be working very hard at it. One might even think he doesn't actually want to find her, though of course that couldn't be the case. -

One Gareth, seeking a Cimorene. He can be found wandering in the general vicinity of Percy's place, looking for her. He is, apparently, thinking very hard about something or other-- his brow is furrowed slightly, his hands tucked behind his back.
Of course, anyone else who happens by is more than welcome to say hello. -
crackplot fallout
--Gareth is, initially very curious as to why he is apparently in a linen closet. Next, he is very curious as to where his doublet has gotten to. And after this, with a mounting sense of unease, he wonders whether the faint breathing noises are coming from a someone or a something. Both options seem equally alarming. -

Gareth is sitting. In a trail behind him are his helm, gauntlets, and gorget, all clearly removed while walking still. Beside him, on the ground, his breastplate. He apparently gave up before removing the rest, and he is, as stated, sitting, knees drawn up to his chest, his arms wrapped around his knees. His face is quite flushed, his curls ( Read more... ) -
swords, at dawn
Gareth is trying to look nonchalant. This effort is very much undermined by the fact that he is standing in a secluded little place at dawn in full armor with an unsheathed sword (neither of these aided in his attempt to sneak stealthily from the house).
His face is quite white, but he looks very determined and very little like his usual self.
