Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season!

I just checked and it's been March since I posted!  I really am still alive and following all your lives.  I had no idea that being the mom of three older kids could make me busier than being the mom to three todlers.  When I got into this whole fandom thing my kids were 7, 4, and 1.  Now they are 14, 11, and 8.  I wrote reams and reams of ( Read more... )

CONGRATS! On your red belt test! You are doing so great this season! I'll try to make a point to post at least once a month, and since we're done with Marching Band season, I just may be able to! Have a great Holiday, and keep up the kicks!

I read your post today and sleep while you can. The difficult thing with two kids is that its so hard to find time to nap. Good Luck and have a great Christmas!

You know we should come down sometime, just to see the sights. We go to Orlando so much. I'll look at the school schedule and maybe we can do that in Feb or March! I'll keep you posted. Hope your Hanukkah (did I spell that right) celebrations went well.

Yay! Good to hear from you, Carole!

I'm still struggling to catch up on LOST, but I've gotten into rock climbing and I'm training for a half-marathon and just doing things.

Hopefully you're schedule will ease up at some point (har har)! :D

Wow! even a half marathon is more than I can imagine. I've tried to get started a couple of times on running and can never seem to run more than about 2-3 minutes at a time. Must try harder (an more frequently). I think rock climbing would be a blast as well, but there aren't any climbing spots (natural or man made) in our area ... hmmmm ... Anyway, happy holidays and thanks for your nudges ... its nice to know someone misses me :)

Being a working mom, I read this post and completely related. It all seems to be flying by so quickly. Emma is in Brownies, and I took half a day off so I could learn about cookie sales.

It sounds like you and family are doing well... crazy busy, but doing well... I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Hugs,
Elia

There are a lot of non-working Band moms, but it seems most of the active ones are working moms ... GO US! I think it makes us more organized, if a bit exhausted... Happy Holidays and I hope the new job and town are going well.
