In my "Book of times where it doesn't get much better," I've just added a new page. I was sitting and reading ("The Secret-Keeper" by Chris Zimmerman, a MI author BTW), out in the yard right next to some raspberry bushes. Good day
Up fairly early with some nice quiet time... just me and the cats. I like the early times! Managed to do some cultivating and fertilizer spreading in the flower beds. Then spent some rewarding time watering and watching the growies grow. LOL Good times ( Read more... ) -
Early Saturday
For some reason I found myself awake quite early again today and finally rolled out of bed at 6AM. This put me shaved, showered and outside enjoying the cool, early sun along with the growies and bird sounds. I also got in a little reading. In this case the wizard happens to be an oral surgeon. But that's OK, he does great work. In today's case, it's continuing work on an implant. The bone graft and actual anchor piece was placed months and months ago (after healing from the tooth extraction). Loading the dishwasher this morning, I broke a glass. The task is not really enjoyable so I try to move as quickly as possible and just get it done. Moving dishes from the sink to the machine rather quickly, I bumped (just a glancing blow) a glass against the granite counter. … there were a variety of foods hiding away in the freezer. I decided, however, I really didn't feel like doing a cooking thing so I pulled out hamburgers to grill up with some onion (as well as one can grill in a frying pan... on the stove :-) ).
