Random stranger here, I was looking on the most recently updated journals because apart from anything else I'm a bit nosy and I love finding out about other people.
The car looks awful, sorry he/she isn't going to make it, here's wishing you a speedy recovery though.
I'm not a parent, in fact I'm still living at home with mine, but I just wanted to say I found your posts about both Natasha and your desire for another child so moving, and I wanted to wish you well really, and say that even if you don't think you're coping, you are coping, coping isn't feeling fabulous when bad stuff's happening, it's keeping going.
I'm afraid I'm a Brit, (well actually I'm not afraid, but I just put that because I'm about to quote Winston Churchill)
"If you're going through hell, keep going"
I really like that personally.
Anyway, I'm all the way across the ocean so I won't come stalking you or anything, I just really liked your journal,
thanks Cleo... I think the doctors here are just more cautious with the drugs. I have pics of my legs - just to track the bruising - all taken a week apart (I take another one today) and I can't bear to look at them at all.
Vehicles that I'm looking at now: Subaru B9 Tribeca, Lexus RX330, BMW X3, Acura MDX, Nissan Murano.... what do you think? My driving force right now is ability to withstand side impacts (people drive trucks and large SUVs up here)...
Yeah, and up there I imagine something with weight and all-wheel drive is a good idea.
I like those all, actually--they're all good build quality and reliable. The B9 is new this year and may have a couple niggling issues because of that (and it's got that funky grille, but that's just a taste thing). The Acura may not be the best thing in snow, but they're all good choices. Really it's down to what you like best!

Thank you very much for your kind words. I was born a Brit but emigrated when I was 2 so I've been in Canada for a very very long time.
