The good thing about being tipsy in the East Village is that you don't feel out of place.
One woman praised my apparently entertaining yet fruitless dance to hail the cab she got off of, and another one, after almost colliding with my stumbling path, turned around, smiled, and said, "Thanks for the dance!"

Compiling UF-Raw in Ubuntu
The current ufraw package in Ubuntu 10.10 isn't new enough to support the Canon S95, so I had to compile it myself
1. Download the 0.18 sources.
2. Install dependencies. The ones below will give you EXIF, JPEG, and GTK (UI) support:
# sudo apt-get install liblcms1-dev libjpeg8-dev libgtk2.0-dev libgtkimageview-dev
