I whole heartedly agree. The first year of college changes you soo much. You look back at who you were just a short 9 months ago and don't even recognize yourself. But it's funny, no matter how much you tell people this, they never believe you until they actually experience it. To all you graduating seniors: get ready, your life will never be the same.
very much agree with you, with one difference. I think it's the first year away from home that really changes a person. I know that it did for me, and i've since decided it's an enormous maturation experience. You don't know shit until you've been responsible for your own well-being. I imagine it's kind of the same experience when you have a family.
just looking at old lj's, one can see the shift into a more 'adult' mindset; 'is this what i want', 'where am i going', etc. some people make that shift, some people don't.
