Had a great time and met some great ppl yesterday at Sweet Little Desserts in Eugene - there were 8 of us there, my old friend Richard (for a bit - huggs to you sweetie - you were so distracted and I totally understand why) and some new friends. In about 2 hours we begin the 300 miles trek (trailer in tow) to Burning Man. Excited is not the word! Although my knee started to act up last night - hoping the playa air and ambience helps it out, as my appt with the ortho doc is not till the 11th of Sept. So we go with open minds, hearts, hands and hope to have a wonderful experience yet again. ( Read more... )

What a weekend! Started out driving after work from Grants Pass to Two Rock, Calif (which is near Petaluma). We decided to take the scenic route along the coast - yeah RIGHT! We left Grants Pass near 6 PM with a load of hose and other fire gear in the van and arrived at our friends place in Two Rock at 3 AM - I drove the whole way and was exhausted ( Read more... )
