The boy and I got approved today to rent a house together and I'm SO excited. Not only to move in together (which is big!), but this place is pretty awesome. Perfect location, lots of space, remodeled kitchen (dishwasher!), basement/storage, deck, backyard, and parking. As of this Sunday, I'll have exactly 2 weeks to finish everything for Burning Man. I'm getting super excited but I'm also a big ball o' stress. Work has been really busy the last couple weeks so I'm having trouble squeezing in a couple days off for sewing marathons like I'd planned...but it'll all come together in the end ( Read more... ) -

Now that AC is over, I'm diving into Burning Man prep. I have barely over a month to get ready, which of course means that my project list is being drastically truncated. Ah well, it was inevitable. Obligatory post-con report!
AC was really, really fun. I ended up suiting way more than I thought I would, which meant I didn't go to as many events or panels as I'd hoped BUT suiting was amazing! I had such a good time.
