I'm feeling super busy these days, with way too many projects pulling at me. It's all fun stuff, luckily. I do feel better since I canceled any expectation of additional fursuit stuff ready for Anthrocon. I would have loved to have something for the boy but it's not a bit deal ( Read more... ) -

Dudes. This gym class. KILLING ME. Ever had a cramp from working out that wasn't temporary? I haven't, but apparently you can have ones that last weeks or months. My lower ab muscles have been seriously sore since last Tuesday, and doing anything that worked them tonight really, really hurt. Yay! My second batch of copics finally arrived in the mail. I played with them a little bit and I think I have a really nice collection of colors now. They're tough to use and totally unlike any media I've used before. You have to work so fast! But I think that's good for me. Lazy, food-filled weekend
The boy and I had a very relaxed weekend. We both worked from home (well, local coffee shop) on Friday, then stayed up super late playing SNES. I mentioned to my bf that I really wanted to commission a kigu, and he expressed interest as well. Now we both want one for Anthrocon, but unfortunately I'm not sure I'll be able to get ones custom commissioned at this point...so now I'm thinking of making them. In Which I Learn About Taxes
I did my taxes last night, or rather, I assisted my bf in doing my taxes. I can handle the regular return for my f/t job just fine, that's pretty cut and dried. Now that I'm finally starting to get all the necessary tools for fursuit building, I find myself getting excited over the silliest things. I received my electric clippers in the mail the other day (Wahl Contour kit) and got to play with them last night--EXCITING. I'm ordering a mannequin head and balaclava off ebay today--EXCITING.
