Someone on Stardestroyer.net posted that two of the Playboy editors have discovered a connection between the Santelli's 'fuck the regular people' rant and a cadre of Republican suits who're trying to work a 'grassroots' movement against Obama's financial reform policies.

Have you ever read The Illuminatus! trilogy? There is a bit in there about a couple of people who tried to legally set up a competing currency to the US Dollar, who lawsuited to death, as compared to Emperor Norton, who wore a funny outfit and got away with printing up and spending his own money.
