I got a jury summons notice for some suburb called Rolling Meadows. I have to take a Pace bus from the Metra to get there. The bus runs ONCE AN HOUR even during the morning rush period. What kind of third world shit is that? The suburbs can fuck off and die.

Why do so many people on Flicker find HDR photography "interesting". It is emphatically not. It's not dynamic either, just flat and monotonous. I doubt I could find a cheesier visual effect even if I had a complete archive of images posted to Geocities from 1997.

I read so much condemnation of Switzerland for their minaret ban. Personally I would vote against a similar ban if one was proposed here. I like that there's a mosque a few blocks down the street from where I live, I respect diversity, enjoy the melting pot of the US and all that ( Read more... )
