Fluffy things

Mar 16, 2005 02:11

Time has calmed the shock of my experiences somewhat. Of course, good friends do much to ease any lingering anxieties. A couple of Butterbeers, a bit of Ogden's, and a chat or two works wonders. I am glad to be feeling like myself again ( Read more... )

Time has not lessened the shock for me, unfortuently.

Yeah, being alive must've been a scary experience for you. Brought back awful memories, I assume?

I prefer being dead if that's what you mean.

It does take time, you know. And a decent set of hands. You should look for some.

Uhm, the kitten. The fluffy thing with sharp parts. Could I, um, have it?

Someone, uhh, someone sort of gave it to me.

You want me to give you my kitten?

Because you say someone gave it to you? Who is this "someone", may I ask? I purchased this kitten to give as a gift. Now it has returned to me.

She is quite content.

Blaise, you and I both know that Slytherin doesn't equal bloody telepathic!

No, the thought that you might have your own thoughts did not cross my mind for one single second. Really, Blaise, don't underestimate us Gryffindors. We do have heads on our shoulders. Some of us can even use them.

But fine, magical fire it is.

You big smoothie you.

I am
the one with the dark flowing hair and piercing eyes. Yes. I am
Italian, il mio tesoro. I am the one searching, searching in vain for
a kindred soul.

...Piercing eyes? That reminds me of some half-witted third year girl describing Draco Malfoy. Then again, not a huge difference there. But the Italian absolutely slayed me.

I.
LOATHE.
YOU.

FINE!!!! Two can play at this game, George...or should I call you
METRA???

Please don't think I'm silly or out of my mind, but I
feel something. Something I can't put my finger on but
I feel it despite that fact. A connection between us,
somehow... I'm not sure about it, it scares me and
makes me happy at the same time. Perhaps it is only
the power of your words.

HA!

Oh, if you hate me then there words must lie:

I, too, feel that there is something there. Something wonderous that I hope can become something amazing and beautiful! I feel as though I have known you somewhere, somehow before. In some other place, some other realm. I feel this connection so strongly, so tenderly. There is SOMETHING that makes us seem as though we are two halves of a whole.

Nice choice of adjectives, really. Also, the irony, it burns.

Well you must have had SOMETHING "burning" in you to say this!

Two halves, you say? Oh, Blaise! That flatters me more
than you can imagine. I do feel we may be connected in
such a deep, spiritual way. It is very well possible.
I do not believe in nonsense, cosmic powers and
everything and I won't swear on anything until I truly
get to know you, but I have to admit I do believe in
it. One never knows.

Lovely "cosmic" speak here, METRA!
