Wedding shows are evil... so is WoW but wedding shows are worse.

I've been to one show already and we got some cards/brochures from a few people who impressed us. Aside from the crowds, it's not so bad. at least I get free cake =3

I found wedding shows to be very depressing.

There are two basic messages at a wedding show.

a) Your wedding is the most important day of your life and if it isn't perfect your life will be ruined

b) Without our product your wedding will not be perfect.

For me this caused me to question every decision I'd made about my wedding.

Either things have changed or theresa and I give off a vibe that says "We are WAY too progressive for your traditional BS."

Most venders saw me walking away if they tried the "magical" approach. The ones that got to the "we take care of everything for you" pitch got me to stay around the longest.

Jokes on you, I don't do salvage. Obscenely low drop rate + massive financial commitment? GTFO

What else is left to do? I'm only hanging around Einherjar for a shot at Aqua Body, and we're spamming floor 100 for my Goliard chapeau. Only thing left is ZNM and Salvage. Well, and delicious storyline :3

MY POINT EXACTLY

I do Limbus... cause I have to, I don't even give a shit about blm anymore.
I do Nyzul cause I'm really close with my group and it would break my heart to ditch on them.
I do Dynamis cause, gasp, I still enjoy it, especially now that more armour is dropping, at least someone always gets something.
I do Einherjar cause it's short... 30 minutes to keep people happy? not bad.
I do events... mostly because I have to and mostly because I have nothing better to do.

If you are willing to give WOW a try i will give you a 10 day trial pass to try it and if you like it i will start a new toon just to play with you.

I am tempted but aren't the trial accounts completely nerfed?

also, I'd like to do some reading. which side do you guys usually play? alliance or horde? What's a good tank for that faction? what's a good solo class?

I don't care much about PvP but having the ability to defend myself would be nice.

Best of luck with the wedding planning. It's amazing how much time and effort goes into planning a wedding and how quickly the actual wedding day flies by.

I started with a 10 day trial pass and the only restrictions I remember is you had to chose a race from the base release (but it looks like the have a burning crusades trial now) and your friends can't mail you stuff.

so far we have most of the heavies under control.

venue is booked which includes basically everything for the ceremony and reception. outfits are being made as i type. I know where I'm going for my ring and possibly theresa's. Theresa is a graphic artist so the invitations are under control. we have most of the favours already. cakes (both of them) are covered. wedding party gifts are covered. and i know which photographer I'm going with.

still need center pieces, music, and flowers.

as for WoW. I'll likely just have to suck it up and try it. the graphics still look campy and the colour palette looks like a neon 80's easter bunny exploded.
