My Year of Becoming
I can no longer get into high gear, but I'm putting along. I'm seeing a chiropractor and getting some PT to help me become more mobile. As a 65 year old, one of the perks is that I can join certain fitness/gyms for free. (go getting older). But in my case I needed to get in better shape in order to join. So, I'm getting there. I'm still around. I turned 65 last month so I'm officially an old fart. That's ok. I've decided that my best years are yet to come, starting with this year.

Whew! Hannah turned out to be just a bit of welcome rain here. *does a happy dance* AND we've had more rain since then. Although I worry about Hurrican Ike, I'm glad it's staying in the gulf and not heading to the NC coast. My mother and sister were September babies. My sister was born on the 13th and definitely a Virgo and mom was born on the cusp of Virgo and Libra. I think mom was less a Virgo and more a Libra.

Candles in the wind
Maybe changes are in the wind. This past weekend, while I was housesitting for a friend, my daughter came by with her current beau. Not to worry, I had permission from the absent friend to invite her over with beau. The other day my daughter informed me that she had an abnormal results on her pap smear. So yesterday, she was scheduled to have some investigative procedure to look into it.
