i don't think that everyone on earth has a destiny. mostly i think that b/c i figure that your future depends on the choices you make in the present. so you get to pick your destiny. but who knows...

I don't really think about it much, but when I do, I like to think of it as one of those books with the multiple choices that lead you to different parts in the book which all lead to different endings.

I figured out in philosophy that I believe in free will. In groups we had to come up with opinions both to support our stance and attack the opposition, determinism(predestination). We came up with the conclusion that determinism is a belief that is a safety net that people use to differ responsibility towards predestination, or to blame things on a cogwheel that they have no control over so oh well. Stand on a path that branches out with unlimited choices at your disposal, and that is freedom of choice. Just like Jeremy posted a bit ago, it all comes down to the choice of whether you want to be or not to be, it is the question to be asked.

Are you having girl troubles, mate?

and, yes, I believe in destiny! but I also believe in the fact that people are stupid... so we have the ability to let our selves get in the way of our callings.

Why are we so lonely, indeed?!?
