The Work Day Never Stops...
Nine to five ceases to exist when you're a mage. Midnight to midnight mostly covers it, with some additional hours if you cheat. I haven't seen home more than a week total every month this year. Much has happened. Many successes, but it feels like far more failures. And there is still so much more work to do...

The Things that Give Us Hope...
I wanted to continue with the theme of hope, of the people for whom I fight. I realize all of this has seemed very dark. But it wasn't. It wasn't so bad at all. I saw a lot of love, a lot of sacrifice and heroics from the least likely of sources, so I want to remember those things too. One of them is a woman who I have now known in both universes. I need to go back to Florida. I love my cabal, but they're work. My friends down in Orlando, well, they're family. A few days wasn't enough time.
