So I got a letter in the mail on Monday that says that information was revealed in my security check that makes me "unsuitable" for the job I had lined up. no explanation. Last summer I went to Barnes and Noble on Washtenaw to study for my Arabic final. There weren't any free tables so I joined a man who was reading by himself. Taking a break from studying, I looked over at him and observed that he was reading several books about being gay and middle aged. The ICPSR (where I work) just got t-shirts. The front reads: "Even if we look normal..." with a picture of a normal distribution curve complete with 2 standard deviations and the mean. Then on the back there is a picture of a bulging bicep holding a graphing calculator. Underneath it says "we were born to regress!"
