You never really know how strong of a relationship you have with someone until that trust is tested. The problem with trust is that once it's broken, it's hard to build back up to the same level of trust. It's much much easier to suspect the worst of somebody than to have faith in them. I don't understand people that put off dealing with problems as a coping mechanism. I suppose in some cases this strategy might work. Like if you had a time limit on making a decision and by not acting, you act by default. But otherwise, the problem is still there and may even get worse by the time that you do decide to deal with it ( Read more... ) -

Autumn appreciation post
Wow, it really got cold quick. I think on Sunday it was in the mid-70s but come Monday it was 40-ish and now it's hovering around 50 degrees today. Still, I love the fall weather. So I was eating lunch at Burger King today and this old guy came in saying he lost his jacket and was wondering if anyone had turned it in. Seemed like a reasonable request, but the employees had seen nothing.
