Oh great - I thought "twerking" was some kind of social media I was clueless about. Thanks Miley Cyrus for finally sending me to Urban Dictionary for a definition. Now I guess I understand why the word never made much sense in context.
Now that I know what it means, I really hope it isn't the next Twitter.

Alex got home late last night. We met with Natalia, Pavel's widow, and talked long into the evening about many decisions to be made.

It is with great sadness that I post that Pavel Iosevich died Friday evening. He and his wife had gone out to eat with friends and were visiting when he died very quickly from a massive coronary.
Please think of him fondly and lift a glass in his memory. Keep his daughter Alex and his wife Natalia in your prayers. I mourn the passing of my friend.

Proving once again I never met a quiz I didn't like. So for second place, I have a tie between Uhura and a red shirt, which I find pretty funny. Sadly, taking a quiz won't give me either Deanna's hair or figure. Oh well.

XKCD really resounded with me today. Ever since being struck by lightning, I tend to lose words and end up describing things when my brain won't grab the word. Hello. My name is Sandye and I never met an artificial hair color I didn’t like.
