I'm sitting on the floor in our room petting the dog, and john walks over with his running clothes in hand, says "want some clothes sally?" and then covers her in clothes. She also gets socked every morning. She finds this very confusing. We find it hilarious.

So we got a couch. For the room which has never really had furniture. I'm very proud of it, so I share:

Did you know John Lynch settled here in 1757 and opened a ferry across the James River? I read that on a sign. They have this awesome memorial hill thing with tons of steps that I climbed several times tonight. Lynchburg is basically in the middle of fucking no where.
