I have a job again next year, my RIF was rescinded.  Woo Woo. 

Chuck will be transferring away from the base he is currently at around the end of July.  If you have anything you wish to mail him, it needs to be sent by the 4th or he will never see it again.  He also says he'll be home by Christmas!  Woo.

Chuck should be home in around a month.  Probably going to angle for some type of event/party.  Just trying to give everyone a heads up.  More details will be posted as they become available. 

Got my RIF (Reduction In Force) Notice today.  I figured it was coming but it still blows.  This essentially means that I am not promised a job next year.  Last year I was worried but I had trouble taking it seriously since most of it was political grand-standing.  This year there is a significantly more legitimate money problem across the state ( Read more... )

So I'm awake and it's 12:30 AM.  I fell asleep at 8 PM.  Eight O'goddamn'Clock!  I hate being grandpa.  Now that I have awoken again I fear I shall not easily get back to sleep.  Oh well, I'm showing a movie tomorrow anyways in class.
