Terracotta army

So, I went to see the terracotta army today. Not the one in China though (sadly, but one day, I will go there as well!), but a small exhibition in Bochum. And let me tell you, this army is beautiful and very well done. I love it. The exhition itself is kind of disappointing and not really worth the money. Here are some pictures...

A lot of pictures )

Aw, I'm sorry to hear the exhibition was a disappointment. But the sculptures look soooooooooo cool, so they at least were worth it, right?

Oh of course they were worth it!!! I just mean, they could have made so much more out of the exhibition. And 15 Euro is too much in my opinion for such a small exhibition. Even considering the huge effort it must have been to ship the sculptures around the world. Now I really have to see them in China. All 8000 and more of them :)

Cool... i didn't even know they had buried chinese Emperors in the Ruhr Area :P

And did they sell authentic merchandise like your own mercury laced soft drink at this exhibition? :D

hey, the Ruhr Area is the center of the world, didn't you know that?

Of course they sold merchandise. You could buy your own terracotta warrior. But I didn't want to. I'll buy one, when I see the army in China ^^
