New Boston is so boring.

Thank goodness for my piano and for netflix watch instantly to occupy my time.

Sis visited today, which was awesome.

Back to EL tomorrow afternoon or evening. One more week in EL then back to New Boston till I hit the road.

I have this feeling that August is going to go by at a terribly unsettling pace.

So, I thought my post-op followup appointment was 4 weeks after my surgery.

Turns out, it's 2. On August 6th.

Which opens up my schedule to extend my road trip out west to epic proportions.

Chicago and Las Vegas have been added to the itinerary.

Will any of my friends still live in Vegas at the end of August?

I can't imagine how annoying planning a cross-country road trip was before the advent of google maps.

I pretty much planned mine in 20 minutes.

I am fucking stoked.

A weird sort of reversal to the norm:

Right now, my life on paper looks a hot mess, but I really like where things are. Maybe it's the sentiment that all of it is temporary anyway, maybe my excitement for the future is spilling into the present, but who cares?

Two days on Higgins Lake was nice. My parents and another couple rented out a cabin, and we had my grandpa's pontoon boat, and the weather was nice while I was there. almost boiling soy milk cinnamon hot chocolate? every single time.

Thank goodness for it though. I hadn't eaten in three days. I needed that sugar.

I am pretty sure I just fucked up that job interview. Apparently I am not badass enough to do rapid code-switching on a conference call. Ugh.

damnit, i was really starting to want that job.
