You know that your Spanish education is finally complete when you can be solicited by a prostitute in Spanish, understand what's going on, and then proceed to have a lively conversation about prices and venues.

The fact that I ran away crying from this conversation has no bearing on the fact that I was capable of having it!

So I've found that the sentence "Was that store there yesterday?" is very difficult for me to say in Spanish. Too many 'y's, double-'l's and 'r's. It's a veritable "She sells seashells" of the Spanish language ( Read more... )
