A guy got fired for making this and as a lawyer, I'm offended as it's quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen in ages.

If I am not too lazy, I'll look into helping the guy get his job back.

Obviously, I barely know anything about it, but that doesn't stop me from having an opinion.

Best Buy, his employer, asked him to re-sign. He refused and has been placed on indefinite suspension awaiting a HR decision.

I'd imagine if it were on company time, it might be a no brainer, so I have a feeling that's not the issue.

I'm thinking that it has to do with disparaging Apple (and EVO in the follow up video).

From my past experience working at Circuit City, we had to be careful not to disparage a brand that we sold (i.e. we could and did trash Mitsubishi TVs because we didn't carry them).

However, this is completely unrelated to his work at the store and it's not likely that they can punish him for it. Although, they will try.
