Father woke yesterday. They are keeping him at St. Mungo's for a while longer, the healers saying that he has lost some of his coordination and it may be more difficult for him to cast spells than it was before. The curse is severely damaging, but only when applied for long amounts of time apparently. Father's strong reaction to it may have stemmed ( Read more... )

I am pleased to see you have returned, but sorry about the circumstances. It is beyond inexcusable the way your family has been treated throughout this, but what can you expect from the bloody Ministry.

Grimmauld must be terrible for you to miss Lestrange. You definately need to get out.

I will be out tomorrow, thankfully enough. Perhaps I can meet you sometime in Diagon Alley next week? You'll have to get your shopping done there anyway soon.

If you can talk your aunt into letting you leave, you can hide at my house for a few days. I don't think Mother or Father will notice mind.

That'd be lovely, Lawrence! I do not know how Mother would react to that though. I will be out tomorrow, but I shall let you know soon enough- though is it really reasonable for me to be leaving London at this point with term so close- unless that is- you live in the London area. Thank you for the offer anyway.

You are the most inhumane, insensitive creature ever to disgrace the face of this earth. This is my father. They did this to my Papa, the man who watched over you and your brother and and took us for ice cream at Fortescue's and even defended your sorting back in first year when your parents were horrified and all of those nasty little comments were being passed round. You try going to St. Mungo's and watching him. He is sick and weak and it simply awful to see him in such a state.

You have no heart, Sirius Black, and I hope some day that the same cruelty that you have shown befalls you.
