Tom and I decided quite recently that as we both like walking that it was time that we'd do something that would raise our game so to speak. So we decided that by October we'd try and walk the Hadrian's Wall Path all the way from Wallsend to Bowness on Solway. Yesterday we started it! This weekend has been very good indeed. I was at the Walkers on Saturday evening and saw Argyle tread all over Leicester. Our away support was magnificent and outsung what felt like the entire city of Leicester

I'm currently doing some research on Militant Tendency for a presentation and have just watched an old BBC News report on Neil Kinnock's speech to the Labour Party Conference in 1985. What a speech! In my German politics seminar earlier we were discussing Die Linke("The Left Party") and how their colour is purple. Our lecturer found it so funny and asked what purple meant to us.
