I liked UPenn a lot, but I have no basis of comparison to other programs (except Harvard's). This weekend, I'm leaving Friday morning to go to UCLA, but apparently the weekend doesn't officially start until 4:30pm on Saturday. Having been largely a rule-abiding teenager, I only now have realized that being Jewish on Christmas is very much like being grounded. It's really boring to sit around alone at home and not able to go anywhere or hang out with any friends, just waiting for the day to be over. Most useless day of winter break.

I'm coming home a week from Sunday! For two whole weeks! Who's going to be around/who should I come visit?

Standardized tests are my friend. I'm not their friend, but they're my friend. Woot.

Edit: maybe I got that backwards. It depends. But I suspect you know what I mean.

According to California's "semi-official" election results, I am "semi-officially" pissed off at my state. We'll see whether I become officially pissed off. I kinda want a t-shirt that reads "Homosexuality is not a moral issue, but bigotry is a sin." Or something to that effect.
