My thoughts about this series are so jumbled. There are some things that I love about this new show, some things that I could take or leave, and a few things I really don't like. There's some spoilers, so if you haven't seen the first episode and don't want to know what happens, skip over this one.

Update on life so far ...
Made it through my first week and a half back at work. I was off at noon everyday and I really appreciated it! My med doctor wanted me to try 6-hour shifts next week, so I'll be off at 2pm next week. If I handle that I'll be back to work full-time the week after ( Read more... ) -

Fan-Fic, Please!
One thing I've started doing since my dad's death is reading Ninja Turtles fan-fiction, and a lot of it. It's a great way to get a deeper scope of all the TMNT universe can be, and open my mind to new plot twists and ideas for Team Green ... not to mention an escape from reality for a while since I forgot the 2k3 toon DVDs ( Read more... ) -
A week later ...
It's been a week and I'm still struggling. Still in Utah. I'm in denial a lot of the time, to be honest. My entire dad - leather biker jacket, favorite jeans, etc all fit into this little box on the table. Sad stuff about my dad ...
My dad doesn't look good at all. It's scary how much he's changed, physically, since I saw him under a month ago when I was out here for the mediation. He's like a shell of what he used to be, so frail and skeletal. Hugging him is like holding a child; he's so small ( Read more... ) -
