Oh this is beautifully fantastic. Quite aside fromt he fact that I have a stupid passion for Ianto+Gwen friendship fics this is a wonderful study of character and grief. And you handle it so well. It doesn't wallow, it just is. Ianto's reaction is so realistic and they way that Gwen understands it so perfectly; knowing that he doesn't want to talk, he just wants to know. I could frankly rav forever, but will instead just say that I am going to mem this and I do that incredibly rarely for fics. a great peice of writing.

this is really sweet and loving and err...lovely. really, i loved gwen in this; she was so sweet and kind and understanding and patient with ianto and i think that's all he really needed just for someone to pick up the phone and not demand answers off of him. i liked that he was one way with gwen and another with jack and i like how jack understood too and i liked how ianto wasn't particularly articulate about what he was feeling but it's kind of true which is quite sad when you htink about it:( he's 25 and he's had how many people die on him? 800 odd from canary wharf, lisa, owen twice, tosh, suzi twice (though depending on what you read, it's debatable how close he and her were) this really seemed to work:P
