crappy friend

I've been a pretty crappy friend to a lot of people lately. I won't make excuses, I won't pretend it hasn't happened...I will say I am sorry I can't be/haven't been what has been expected of me these past few months, but I'm also not sorry at the same time. My entire life up until moving to Chicago was me not existing. I never had an identity.

its just like a scientific experiement.. it always needs a control to compare to... so if you are always in a certain place with certain roles with certain people... it can be hard to distill what exactly your own essence is unless you extract yourself from that situation and see youself in different situations.. then you have the scientific control.. then you find what stays the same under various situations and relationships and what you truly are in some ways..
