Of course, each twin chose the other as the one to go free. But Fay was by far the most insistent that his brother be allowed to leave that place. Fei Wang accepted his determination and in the next instant, Fay was thrown from the tower. Yuui could only watch helplessly as his brother plummeted to his death. Just before he hit the ground, a strange thing happened: the twins synced up mentally and Yuui received the memories of his brother’s final moments. These memories mixed with Yuui’s and became almost indistinguishable from his own. Thus, Yuui believed that he had chosen to kill his own brother ( ... )

As Fay grew older, a series of strange, violent slaughters swept over the country. Remembering his promise, Fay vowed to destroy the beast that was killing the citizens. Lord Ashura forced him to wait to go looking for it and finally, one day, revealed that it was he who had been killing everyone. With each person he killed, his power had gotten stronger, so now surely Fay must be forced to kill him. Fay was devastated, believing that he was still a being that brought misfortune and that his presence had driven Lord Ashura to insanity. He couldn’t bring himself to kill the man who was kind to him, so instead he cast a spell on him, forcing him into a deep sleep and sealing him in a coffin at the bottom of the pool next to his brother ( ... )

Piffle: Fay decided to enter a race with everyone in order to win one of Sakura’s feathers back. During the time in this world, he assigned family roles to everyone, dubbing himself the mother, Kurogane the father and Sakura, Syaoran and Mokona the children. Unfortunately, he was unable to get far in the race (which was rigged with traps meant to eliminate racers). When Kurogane was eliminated in a sudden accident protecting Sakura, Fay fussed over him a great deal, leading Kurogane to observe that Fay seemed to have begun to care about them all a great deal. This fazed Fay quite a bit, though he quickly hid himself again ( ... )

The group arrived in Nihon, Kurogane’s country, and Fay was hysterical with worry for Kurogane. He stayed near him and shouted for help, which soon arrived in the form of Kurogane’s princess, Tomoyo and the Empress’ ninja. Tomoyo calmed Fay and took them all to the country’s castle ( ... )

It used to be that he put up the appearance of being unassuming and unable to take things seriously. He smiled constantly because he knew it disarmed people and it kept them from worrying or wondering about him and thus from getting too close to him. He tended to keep people at arm's length no matter how friendly he seemed to be with them (i.e. he acted even more silly - or cold, depending on what part of the plotline you're in XD - around Kurogane because he knew it annoyed the man and hoped it would drive him away). This was because he honestly believed that he was a being that only hurt those close to him and did not deserve to live. He was formerly unaware of his own self-worth, or his worth to others, and didn’t take special care to make certain that he wasn't harmed (despite wishing not to die before he could bring his brother back to life). He wore his guilt like a second skin. It was his weak point, and those that could reach it could easily manipulate him (i.e. his agreeing to complete tasks for the Fei Wang in order to ( ... )

(Even in light of his own restraint of using his powers, the fact that he's stuck in a dream world will probably factor into his use of them as well. There's evidence of how dream worlds can affect Fay in the canon - i.e. preventing the use of his magic to a degree - so I will be keeping that in mind while playing. And despite being able to transport himself across worlds, he wouldn't be able to magic himself out of Somarium. Obviously. XD)

Magic aside, Fay is also well-trained in physical combat and can navigate a fight easily. He is very good at using his long limbs to strike out and leap at enemies. In terms of weapons, he's a ranged fighter who's better with a bow and arrow or some sort of projectile (though he has shown proficiency with a staff). He is, however, not invicible in a physical fight, and though he will be taking better care of himself now, he has a tendancy to become momentarily distracted and get whacked around a bit.

Congratulations~ You've been accepted into the RP! Please follow the following instructions and then you'll be ready to hop in~

- Create a character journal (if you haven't already)
- Join somarium, somarium_ooc, and castleofdoom
- Comment on the Taken List and Contact List to be added.
- Comment on the Friends Add and follow the entry's instructions to add/remove characters into/from your friends list.

- Fill out the Profile meme and post it in your journal (and use an lj-cut).
- It's not required, but if you want, you can create a Voicemail entry in your journal.

- Introduce yourself and your character at somarium_ooc (don't forget the tags!)
