Bizarre, huh? People REALLY need to read up on trademarks, and the
people handing these things out like candy need to be a bit
more selective AND educate trademark holders on what abusive legal
threats are.

LJ is being odd today. I just checked to see if you're on all my filters and you are, so just try again. It took me 3 tries to get this very page I'm posting on. Couldn't even log in earlier, a few times. livejournal.com wasn't there at all for a while.

No, all my best thoughts are with you. If things do not turn out well for either of us, maybe we can get together and write a letter to the people who hand out trademarks and report the abuse. In both of our cases, we are clearly not in actual violation.

Best of luck. I tried reason with my "person", and got no-where.

Maybe theres hope that reason will work with her.

LOFL!! thanks, Howie! for the support and the biggest laugh I have had from this horror all day. . . the culprit did actually come thru and call me, tho she was cheerfully oblivious of the effect of her apparently tossed-off email and hadn't really read mine. Go figure. She said she'd really read it then call me back. So far, still waiting for that second call. but thanks again! song triangle it is! (ding ding ding come and get it!)
