Oh, what a great weekend. Got to spend a couple of very relaxing days out in the Texas Hill County with tashar and the human 2/3 of elkethegreyt. Got to have an impromptu Thai dinner last night with tashar, jnasser, mithrana, valda793 and SG, who was in town from San Antonio. Nothing exciting happening. Dining at Zio's with another coworker and a vendor (mmmm...free lunch). All was well until the waiter decided to drop a bread knife into said vendor's lap.

Hilarity ensued, and generated the phrase, "Would you like castration with that."

Finally, tashar and I watched the House of Yes last night (first DVD to come via the new Netflix account). While it may take another viewing or two to fully appreciate, it did go a long way in helping me realize just how crazy some of our friends are.

Never change.

Damn my HP 48 GX, I took it out to do some meaningless calculations, turned it on only to hear beeping and the screen go blank. Turned it over and 2 batteries had corroded. How, I don't know, I use it almost every day and it had been fine ( Read more... )
